The dock for the 'Church Boat' was to the left of the gazebo

A great dock at the east end of St. Hubert's accommodated the largest boats on the lake.  One type of 'Church Boat' was built like a guide boat, but over-sized with extra seating.

One of these lovely craft is afloat at the Adirondack Museum, more practical for getting one to Church on time than for stalking deer.
